Connect Your Apps
Managing apps and accounts
Pause syncing, rotate credentials, rename or delete an account, and test a connection
The Apps screen groups every connected app under its account. Each account section can be collapsed, and each app has its own menu for the day-to-day operations below.
App status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Syncing normally on the usual schedule. |
| Paused | You stopped syncing for this app. Existing reviews stay; no new ones are fetched. |
| Error | The last poll failed — almost always a credential problem. Repeated failures raise a credential alert. |
Per-app actions
- Edit — change the display name, the app identifier, or the stored credentials
- Pause / Resume — stop or restart syncing without deleting anything
- Test connection — verify the credentials against the store right now
- Delete — remove the app and its reviews from ReviewDesk
Rotating credentials
Because credentials belong to the account rather than to one app, updating them on any app in that account updates the account. Generate the new key in your store console first, paste it into the edit form, then run Test connection to confirm before revoking the old one.
Account-level actions
The … menu on an account header covers operations across the whole group:
- Add app — opens the connect flow with the account pre-selected and its credentials reused
- Rename account — changes the label across every app in it, and updates any team assignments that pointed at it
- Delete account — removes the account and every app under it
Sync schedule
ReviewDesk checks for work every 30 minutes and refreshes each app at least every 6 hours. An app with a reply waiting on Apple moderation is checked more often, so the status flips to live as soon as it clears. The last polled time on each card tells you when the app was last read.
